BIG BANG has managed to occupy the first and second place of Hanteo’s annual album sales chart, which was published online last May 11.

BIG BANG’s 1st mini album “Always” sold about 87,000 copies while its 2nd mini album “Hot Issue” sold around 81,000 copies. The sales of the two mini albums totaled to about 168,000 copies, a very encouraging number despite the bad situation of the Korean music industry.

Yangpa’s 5th album ranked 3rd and was followed by SG Wanna Be’s 4th album and Kim Dong Ryul’s 5th album, respectively.

“The 1st and 2nd mini albums were released in August and November last year and we’re very happy that they’re selling. The 2nd mini album was actually sold for more than 90,000 copies and we’re expecting that it’s immediately go over 100,000 copies,” a YG Entertainment official said.

Not only BIG BANG’s mini albums were included in the Hanteo ranking but also its 2nd live album entitled “The Great,” which ranked 61st, 1st album called “Since 2007,” which placed 39th, and 1st single album, which ranked 96th.

BIG BANG set a record for having its 5 albums included in Hanteo’s Annual Top 100 chart.

            In the new Taiwanese series Fated to Love you, Ethan Ruan kisses Chen Qiao En while she was crying. According to Ethan after shooting their bed scene, the two of them were no longer embarrassed and they didn’t need to take wine to do their intimate scene. All throughout their taping in the series they became comfortable with each other and all scenes flow naturally especially the kissing scene. For almost three hours, Chen Qiao En cried and cried as part of the script until her eyed became swollen. In the script, there are two pages crying scene for Chen Qiao En for the sake of keeping the right mood. During the filming session, also the special day for the mothers and Chen Qiao got a one day off to spend her time with her mother and do some shopping to make the day remarkable between them especially for her mother.  These two main casts really played professionalism to make the series be effective enough to convince and encourage the viewers to chase after the show and gain a good rate.

            The Tell Me stars left for Thailand on May 9, 2008 and started their five day endorsement tour in the country. After reaching the Kingdom of Thailand, the group will readily set-up themselves with their concerts, promotions, meeting with their fans and other activities throughout their tour before they leave the country.          Due to unexpected warm welcome hands of the Thai fans, the girls really appreciated the people and they were shocked when the Thais perform the Irony and Tell Me just like how the girls perform it. Last Saturday May 10, 2008 the girls met with their fans at Siam Paragon and showed their skills in the “Modern Nine Live Wonder Show with Wonder Girls”. The girls really showed their great talent in performing the singing and dancing and their famous factor of cuteness. After their busy tours in Thailand, they will prepare themselves again for the next album this June 2008 in Korea.
